checkin24-7 offers special support for mobile devices such as iPhone or Android for both the back end (administrative panel) and the front end (for your clients so they can make reservations with their mobile devices). The front end will work with both advanced integration (reservation system embedded on your website) and simple integration (you redirect your clients to checkin24-7.com for the reservation process). The detection of the mobile device is done automatically so there’s no special set-up you have to do to get the mobile functionality.

Front end

The entire reservation process has been specifically adapted to mobile devices. The starting point for the reservations, depending on your choice, can be availability search or resource selection. The screenshots below show what the user experience is when using an iPhone. Of course if you have clients who frequently reserve with you, they can create an icon for the reservation page URL on their iPhone desktop. This will then be almost identical to a native iPhone / Android app.

The three screens above come from a sample checkin24-7 site offering tennis court rental. The first screen shows the search box, the second lists the courts available for specified time and the third screen shows the reservation form. As with the desktop version, you can highly customize the user experience.

Back end

The parts of the back end which have to do with management of existing reservations, entering new reservations, setting and checking availability have been specifically adapted to mobile devices. The remaining parts of the back end which are done only initially or very rarely (configuration of the checkin24-7 site, integration with Google products or your website) are only available in the desktop version. You can still work with these pages on your mobile device but you’ll need to do some scrolling and zooming.

The three screens above show only some of the back end functions. The first screen shows the availability preview for the next days, the second screen lets you check and quickly change availability of the courts for each hour of the day and the third screen shows details of a reservation entered by a client. The same screen has buttons for cancelling, confirming and modifying the reservation and shows full details of the reservation and the client.
